For the most part, I like my hair even though it is straight, slightly wavy; color is a naturally blonde, fine hair. I have lots of hair, fine hair strands, almost like cotton candy. Fine strands that sometimes are almost translucent when held up to the light. Shed strands can be hard to see even against a contrasting background. Fine hair is difficult to feel or it feels like an ultra-fine strand of silk. Fine hair and thin hair can easily be confused, but while fine hair refers to the thickness (or lack thereof) of the actual hair shaft, thin hair is about the density. It's how much hair that a model or actor actually have.

On these creative jobs where I would trade for samples, photos. However the model has no control or say in the finished makeup or haircut. Makeup can be removed. Hair cuts need time to grow.
There are limits, maybe that hair cut isn’t worth the time!

Then, I was offered a job with one salon that cut my hair in a weird style. Over style to the point that my option for healthy hair was to cut it off and start over. It took a couple of years to for my hair to grow out.

BECOME A SCREEN STAR
Wear a hat and choose hair care products, sunglasses with sunscreen protection every time a model goes outside. In addition to protecting the face and possible scalp burn, sun damage happens to the hair too making hair brittle, breakage and split ends. This is especially true with blonde or grey hair. Also choose a hat made of sun-protective fabric with UPF 30 (ultraviolet protection factor). Model hair with natural products is good inside and out!

Shampoos: Egg yolk 2 egg yolks
1 c water
Beat the yolks into the water; massage on hair for 5 minutes, leave on hair for 10 minutes
Dandruff Mix equal parts vinegar and water. Part hair and apply with absorbent cotton
Beat egg lightly, use instead of shampoo
Conditioner
Beat eggs (up to six) with a jigger of rum and whip up a good foam. Rinse well
Mash 1/2 avocado, wrap in towel and sit thirty minutes
Egg & Honey 1 tsp honey
2 tsp sesame oil or safflower oil
1 egg
Combine in a double boiler. When blended, beat the egg in and slowly stir until even consistency
Dark Hair
Olive oil & Honey
1/2 c olive oil
1 c honey
Stir together . Leave in a jar for a day or two, shaking every so often.

Keep healthy and on the job, between sets, wear little or no makeup, think a lot before doing anything permanent on our bodies. For auditions, it is not necessary to have full makeup.
